ABOUT MIKI’S PRO SOCCER CAMPS
For players wanting to take their game to the next level, sign up for Miki’s Pro Soccer Camp. After years of training in the best soccer clubs in the world and with the top trainers, Miki has established a system of training that is highly effective. Miki’s approach combines the best drills and methods to ensure the players improve their game performance. Each camp focuses on four areas of skill development: Speed & Agility, Ball Control, Shooting, and Passing.
Speed and Agility
Soccer is such a fast past game and having the speed to keep up is vital to staying in the game. There are many proven techniques to increase a players speed and agility. Practicing accelerating and firing the muscles helps to condition the neuro-muscular system to improve the firing patterns of fast twitch muscle fibers. Agility in soccer is just as relevant to being a successful player as all-out speed. Agility is the ability to explosively brake, change direction and accelerate again. Speed and agility training at Miki’s Pro Soccer Camp will increase a player’s coordination, agility and quickness and provide a number of practical tips that the player can work on at home.
Ball Control
Often players can substantially improve their ball control by just making minor adjustments in their technique. After watching a player Miki is able to immediately identify what the player needs to do to improve ball control and relay that effectively to a player. After working with Miki, players learn to identify their mistakes and adjust their play accordingly. Results are immediate and transcend into improved game performance. Players are shown drills that they can work on at home to continually improve their game.
Shooting
All the speed, agility, and ball control skills in the world won’t amount to much if when a player goes to score, his/her shooting technique isn’t at 100%. Everything from the player’s posture, to the angle of the foot and position in the field affects a players ability to score. Miki works with each player to adjust their overall technique and uses a variety of drills to help the players improve their shooting technique.
Passing
Keeping possession of the ball requires strong passing and receiving among teammates and the ability to find holes in the opposing team’s defense. Miki focuses both on the individual players ability to pass and receive and the team strategy required to keep the ball moving up and down the field. Players are shown how to take advantage of open space and strategies to successful retain possession of the ball.
